That\u2019s why, as part of our commitment to supporting newcomers, our pre-arrival program <strong>Canada<\/strong> <strong>InfoNet<\/strong> hosted a special <strong>webinar on Indigenous Awareness<\/strong> led by <strong>Chrystal Tabobandung<\/strong>, an Anishnabekwe from Wasauksing First Nation. She shared her insights on Indigenous culture, history, and the importance of reconciliation in Canada.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>So why is this important for newcomers \u2014 especially jobseekers?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Because learning about Indigenous peoples isn\u2019t just about the past \u2014 it\u2019s about the present and the future.
